Community Action Team
As a grassroots community-based organization, volunteerism is one of the Caribean Equality Project's foundational principles of building community power and resilience. The Caribbean Equality Project's Community Action Team is a network of diverse volunteers consisting of Caribbean LGBTQ people and allies who support the planning, implementation, and execution of all the organization's programming. The dedicated community members, leaders, and changemakers are activated to support community outreach, conduct civic engagement, and lead event planning and management. Together, the Community Action Team supports the organization's work and advocacy to empower and uplift Caribbean LGBTQ+ voices in NYC!
