south queens redistricting TOWN HALL
Join Caribbean Equality Project on Monday, October 4 at 7 pm for a South Queens Redistricting Town Hall (Richmond Hill, South Ozone Park, & Ozone Park) at Royal Indian Palace, 118-06 Atlantic Ave, Queens, NY 11419.
We are proud to be one of the leading co-organizers for this important community discussion on the impact Redistricting will have on Richmond Hill, South Ozone Park, and Ozone Park for the next 10 years, alongside our partners at APA VOICE: Voting and Organizing to Increase Civic Engagement, South Queens Women's March, and Taking Our Seat.
Attendees will learn about the New York State Independent Redistricting Commission's proposed maps, how they can advocate to ensure our community is no longer gerrymandered, and will have an opportunity to voice concerns on redistricting process.
Please join us! Kindly note that proof of vaccination will be required at the door.
