LGBTQ COMMUNITY IFTAR
On Monday, May 20, 2019, please join Caribbean Equality Project, the NYC Commission on Human Rights and our community partners for an LGBTQ Community Iftar at The Center (208 W 13 St, New York, NY 10011) starting at 6pm. For the 3rd consecutive year, we are co-organizing this dinner during the holy month of Ramadan, hosted at The Center in partnership with organizations serving the LGBTQ Muslim community. We invite all Queer & TGNC Muslims and allies to break fast with us as we celebrate the holy month of Ramadan with prayer, entertainment by members of the Taranng Dance Troupe and with delicious food. The evening is meant to create a safe space for all community members, while also celebrating unity within LGBTQ communities of faith.
