Join Caribbean Equality Project on Saturday, December 18th at 1 pm, as we partner with New York Communities for Change- Flatbush Chapter, and Flatbush Mixtape to host a culturally responsive Holiday Food and Essentials Distribution in Flatbush, Brooklyn.

Date: Sunday, December 19th, starting at 1 pm

Location: St. Paul's Episcopal Church (157 St. Paul’s Pl, Brooklyn NY, 11226)

We will be distributing free groceries, fresh produce, children's books, hygiene care packages, PPE, sexual health & period products, and COVID-19 testing & vaccine resources.

We will be on-site until supplies last. Wear a mask. Bring a cart.

Co-Sponsored by The Campaign Against Hunger, Council Member Rita Joseph, Apicha Community Health Center, Brooklyn Public Library, MetroPlus Health Plan, and Black Rides for Black Lives.

2021 Holiday Food and Essentials Distribution Series

The Caribbean Equality Project's advocacy and organizing are all volunteer-led, with a focus on community building and education, facilitation of pro-bono legal representation for Caribbean LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, culturally competent mental health resources, visibility at city-wide pride parades and cultural festivals, and empowering LGBTQ+ Caribbean diasporic community through storytelling and resource sharing.

The Caribbean Equality Project is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, registered non-profit organization. All contributions and donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
